White Sox @ Cubs – Wednesday, May 29th

Following Tuesday night’s rain-out at US CELLULAR FIELD, the White Sox head north into Wrigley Field this afternoon to face the Cubs as the Cross-Town Series continues. This is the first year where the Cubs and Sox will face each other only four times in a four game, home and home series with each team getting two home games. The Cubs took the first game of the four-game series 7-0 behind a strong pitching performance by Jeff Samardzija on Monday night. The Cubs were up 2-0 on the Sox last night before heavy storms rolled through the south side ending the action.

Today’s game features John Danks for the White Sox and Scott Feldman pitching for the Cubs. Both were drafted by the Texas Rangers and face off for the first time of their careers. Danks is making his second start of the season following left shoulder surgery last August and has a 0-0 record w/ a 4.50 ERA. Feldman is 4-4 with a 2.80 ERA but has pitched better than his record indicates.
